Each piece is applied with a cast scroll handles and teapot spout engraved with betel leaf design, teapot cover is surmounted by an arrowhead finial.

Antique early-20th Century Burmese, Myanmar solid silver 3 piece tea set, comprising of teapot, sugar bowl and cream jug, each piece is highly-decorative, chased and repoussed with various scenes from Burmese mythology on finely tooled ground. Each piece is applied with a cast scroll handles and teapot spout engraved with betel leaf design, teapot cover is surmounted by an arrowhead finial. As often the case for Burmese silver the tea set is unmarked, but has been acid tested to show 900+ grade silver.
