Antique 19th Century Exceptional Burmese, Myanmar Solid Silver Thabeik bowl, repousse' decorated in high relief depicting different traditional scenes from the Burmese mythology, showing detailed figures in continues landscape set against a chiseled matted background. The top chased with scrolling bands and base decorated with a continues row of overlapping betel leaves. The quality of the bowl is outstanding, heavy gauge and very crisp. The base doesn't bear a makers mark, but judging by the quality it is undoubtedly made by a great silversmith, tested 900+ grade silver.
