19th Century Burmese Colonial Silver bowl, traditional shape and impressive size, highly-decorative, chased and repoussed with various scenes from Burmese folklore, surrounded by scrolling floral foliage and beaded boarders.
Acid tested shows a 900+ silver standard. The base bears a workshop mark depicting stylized leaves, inscribed (possibly signed by the silversmith).

The piece is exceptionally decorative and heavy, 2785g of high-grade silver (acid tested shows a 900+ silver standard). The base bears a workshop mark depicting stylized leaves, inscribed (possibly signed by the silversmith).
