Sud and Georg Humble, publication (1616 or later), hand-coloured engraved map, map measuring 380mm x 506mm, Latin text on reverse (pages 27-28, signature obscured by mount), mounted in gilt frame, glazed front and rear. John Speed is undoubtedly the most famous single figure in the early history of the English map making.
