Antique 19th Century Indian Colonial solid silver ewer, straight body resting on a circular base, c-shape handle and hinged lid surmounted by a knob and ball finial. The piece is profusely and intricately chased with scrolling leaves, flowers and acanthus leaves on matted ground, depicting hunting scenes and various birds and animals, in the typical Cutch style. The ewer features a beautiful craftsmanship, tested 900+ grade silver and dates to 1880's.
