ANTIQUE 19thC INDIAN SOLID SILVER CORIANDER PATTERN WATER BOTTLE, KASHMIR c.1880
19th Century Indian, Kashmir silver (surahi) water bottle, the traditional body shape is profusely and beautifully repousse' decorated throughout with a 'coriander flower pattern', the neck terminating with a lotus shaped rim and mounted with a detachable stopper on chain, applied with unusual twin handles and supported on a round shaped foot.
Unmarked, but acid tested shows a 900+ silver standard.

Antique 19th Century Indian, Kashmir unusual solid silver (surahi) water bottle, the traditional body shape is profusely and beautifully repousse' decorated throughout with a 'coriander flower pattern', the neck terminating with a lotus shaped rim and mounted with a detachable stopper on chain, applied with unusual twin handles and supported on a round shaped foot.
