DESCRIPTION

Antique 19th Century Victorian Black Forest carved figures of sheep used as props from a christmas nativity. Such items were usually bought back by tourists from the Swiss / German borders (the Black Forest) and were a fashionable home decoration accessory in the latter part of the 19th century.
