Antique ealty 20th Century Scottish very rare pair of novelty solid silver & brass table salt & pepper shakers, realistically modelled as two shotgun cartridge shells. Both feature screw lids to the base. Included is the original display box with the original inner lining  "BY APPOINTMENT HAMILTON & INCHES EDINBURGH". Both hallmarked Scottish silver (925 standard), Edinburgh, year 1914 & 1915 (I & K), Maker H&I (Hamilton & Inches, Edinburgh).

Hamilton & Inches opened its doors at 90 Princes Street in May 1866. Founded by Robert Kirk Inches and his uncle James Hamilton, the company offered a range of luxury jewellery and silverware.
