DESCRIPTION
Antique early-20th Century genuine and superb Louis Vuitton malle cabine / steamer trunk, very large size, rare orange Vuittonite leather, leather and brass bound, with wheels to the base and leather handles to either end, interior lined with cream canvas, signed brass hardware and numbered lock.
The sides are stamped with initials "MFP". The present trunk in orange Vuittonite leather is very rare and sought after, a collector's must have.
Brand tag on the internal side of the cover reading "Louis Vuitton Paris 70 Champs Elysees, 149 New Bond St London...", serial number "760055", the piece dates to year 1930's
