ANTIQUE 20thC LOUIS VUITTON SHOE TRUNK IN ORANGE "VUITTONITE" CANVAS c.1910
A very rare shoe trunk by Louis Vuitton dating to the early part of the 20th century (circa 1900/1910). Covered in the famous orange “Vuittonite“ canvas, this horizontal shoe trunk is much rarer than its monogrammed brothers with its stain and water resistant canvas that was used on Vuitton’s trunks from the turn of the century to 1920‘s.

A very rare shoe trunk by Louis Vuitton dating to the early part of the 20th century (circa 1900/1910). Covered in the famous orange “Vuittonite“ canvas, this horizontal shoe trunk is much rarer than its monogrammed brothers with its stain and water resistant canvas that was used on Vuitton’s trunks from the turn of the century to 1920‘s. Trunks covered with orange Vuittonite canvas are nowadays rather rare and therefore appreciated by collectors. What makes this trunk even rarer is that it still retains all its original interior trays which are often discarded and lost through the years by previous owners. Truly a great opportunity to own a collector’s piece that is a great focal point for any interior.
