DESCRIPTION
Antique 20th Century Imperial Russian Solid Silver & shaded cloisonne' enamel Kovsh, of traditional oval form, with raised prow and hook handle, the body with lobed cartouches beautifully decorated with various shaded polychrome cloisonne' enamel with stylised scrolling foliage and geometric motifs. A beautiful combinations of enamels used, light cream and light green ground, with delicate reds and blues.
Hallmarked Russian silver 84 (875 standard), Moscow, year 1908-1917, Maker 20A (20th Artel).
