DESCRIPTION
Antique / Vintage mid-20th Century rare and very precious Mario Buccellati 18 Karat solid gold lighter, the body and the sprung hinged lid featuring the textured surface typical of Mario Buccellati.
The lighter is in full working order, it comes in the original Mario Buccellati lighter holder.
The base is Hallmarked 18 Carat Gold (750 standard), Milan, marks and signature for Mario Buccellati, one of the greatest jewellers and silversmiths of the 20th Century, great friend and personal goldsmith of the poet Gabriele D'Annunzio. The hallmark is a bit rubbed but is "15 MI" for Mario Buccellati, the shape of the mark suggests that the lighter dates to 1940's.

In Excellent Condition - No damage. Lighter in working order.
