19th George III Silver gilt table snuff box, impressive size and heavy gauge, of rectangular form, the cover applied with a cast relief depicting the Queen of Persia kneeling at the feet of Alexander the Great, reeded sides and base, the inside with a later date "April 29th 1899".

Antique 19th George III Solid Silver gilt table snuff box, impressive size and heavy gauge, of rectangular form, the cover applied with a cast relief depicting the Queen of Persia kneeling at the feet of Alexander the Great (after a painting by Charles Le Brun), reeded sides and base, the inside with a later date "April 29th 1899".
Both sides are Hallmarked English silver (925 standard), London, year 1808 (O), Maker's mark W.P (probably for William Parker, see Jackson's p. 228).
CONDITION
In Great Condition - No damage, just general wear.
