ANTIQUE 20thC PAIR OF GERMAN EXPORT SOLID SILVER & GILT BOXES c.1922
Antique 20th Century German made solid silver cigar and cigarette boxes. Elegantly crafted with an engine-turned pattern and Grecian key design along the edge of the larger box, while the smaller box features a floral decorative border. Both lids are gold inlaid with a striped effect, and gilt interior, inside engraved with initials Eu.
Hallmarked German silver (935 grade), Maker HM, also English Import marks for Sheffield, year 1922 (e).
