Description
Novelty Solid Silver cast large Bear shaped Cocktail Shaker, very decorative and realistically modelled as a standing bear with a walking stick and smoking a cigar, very detailed and very heavy gauge, the pull-off head is set with glass eyes, chained cigar-shaped stopper in the bear's mouth for pouring drinks and the removable head revealing a detachable strainer. The piece is extremely decorative and well-done, a solid silver sculpture. The base and head are Hallmarked "Sterling" silver (925 standard), the base also bears the German Neresheimer & Sohne marks, but is a later example in the Neresheimer style.
