DESCRIPTION
Antique early 20th Century German Solid Silver & hand painted enamel cigarette case, of typical curved rectangular form, the cover enamelled with a horse's head, the name "CONDOR", the German Imperial cross and the memorial inscription "Russland 1915", sapphire-set thumbpiece.
The hinge is tight and clasp is strong, clicks when shut.
The cover is Hallmarked Continental silver (935 standard, probably German), year before 1915, Maker's mark partially rubbed.
CONDITION
In Good condition - General wear and a minor restoration along the right border.
