DESCRIPTION
Antique early-20th Century pair of German Solid Silver and shell-mounted folk musicians, made in the style of the 16th Century examples, each modelled as a musician playing household items such as a frying pan and a funnel, the bases and costumes are set with colorful paste stone cabochones.
Each statue is very well-refined and features a stunning quality, this type of shell-mounted figures is rare and sought after, please follow this link and this link to similar musicians sold for $15,000 and $12500. The pair is typically German Hanau, hallmarked "13" (acid tested shows a 900+ standard), they date to year 1900's.

In Excellent condition - No damage, just general wear.
