20th Century German Solid Silver large box, of typical rectangular form perfect to be used as cigar or jewellery box, parcel gilt, the body and the hinged cover are chased and embossed with rustic scenes of peasants merry-making, in the style of the 17th century Dutch painter David Teniers surrounded by scrolling foliage, very popular on 18th century Dutch silver. The base is engraved with conjoined initials.

CONDITION
In Great Condition, - no damage, just general wear, the key is missing.
