Antique late-19th Century German solid silver ornament modelled as an owl, impressively large, removable head, inside richly parcel gilt, finely crafted in every detail and chiselled imitating the owl's plumage.
The head is hallmarked with German 800 silver marks (800+ standard), further hallmarked with Hanau pseudo marks, maker is unknown to me.

In Excellent Condition - No Damage.
