Exquisitely crafted, the Stag Minstrel tallboy radiates elegance with its hand-painted finish and Zoffany paper adorned drawer fronts. Originally conceptualized by renowned designers John and Sylvia Reid for Stag Furniture in the 1960s, this chest of drawers seamlessly blends contemporary lines, making it a versatile addition to both traditional and modern interiors. Every vintage piece I handle receives meticulous attention to detail and thorough preparation.

Constructed from wood, Stag furniture is not only well-made but also easy to work with. The restoration process involves meticulous sanding, priming, and undercoating, followed by the application of two topcoats and a durable polyurethane varnish for long-lasting protection. The Stag Minstrel tallboy has been enhanced with tasteful gold detailing around the drawers, on the top, and along the feet.

Emphasizing both form and function, I ensure that each piece, if necessary, undergoes careful repairs to guarantee optimal performance. The drawers feature new runners, ensuring smooth operation, while the interiors are clean. Despite its vintage status, this chest of drawers is in excellent condition, a testament to its enduring quality.
