DESCRIPTION
Antique early-20th Century French Art Deco butchers block with all the grace and symmetry of the 1920's. Made from Hornbeam a strong fair hardwood used particularly for chopping blocks and boards although ironically the leaves of the Hornbeam can be used to stop bleeding and heal wounds. A well used piece with two huge drawers each with a large metal stirrup handle.
