Antique 20th Century pair of massive and exceptionally decorative Solid Silver figural chamber sticks, each richly gilt, of shaped circular form, profusely chased with scrolls, four arches set with figures in 17th Century clothes playing and singing, the architectural sconce is also embellished with arches and applied with cherubs, the stem modelled as a scrolling leaf with a naked cherub, scrolling leaf-capped handle set with Pan playing flute.

Extraordinary pair made in a Renaissance / Baroque style, extremely fine and detailed.
Each piece bearing pseudo-marks (acid tested shows a 900+ standard), most probably German Hanau, they probably date to the early 20th Century.
