19th Century Chinese silver three piece tea set, of traditional form resting on a shaped base with mask and claws, surrounded by chased floral decoration, the body finely and profusely chased with figures in a landscape, the cast handles and the finial in the form of a dragons. The set is very impressive, rare, exceptionally crisp and heavy.

The set is very impressive, rare, exceptionally crisp and heavy. The bases hallmarked Chinese silver marks (900+ standard), Maker QWH, probably Qiu Ji, one of the most important and renown Chinese export luxury retailer and silver manufacturer active in Hong Kong, known to have closelly collaborated with the Wang Hing company (for more information please see A. Von Ferscht, Chinese Export Silver 1785-1940, 5th edition 2015, page 608).
