Antique 20th Century Exceptional Burmese, Myanmar solid silver Thabeik bowl, repousse' decorated in high relief depicting different traditional scenes from the Burmese mythology, showing very detailed figures set against a chiseled matted background in landscapes. Around the scenes and the top chased with scrolling foliage, the base decorated with betel leaves. The quality of the bowl is simply outstanding and very crisp, the figures and proportions are much smaller than usual, later engraved 'Presented to rev K. S Procter by the congregation of St Philips church Rangoon 29th April 1931'.
