19th Century Victorian silver christening set, comprising a fork, a knife and a spoon, each richly gilt and beautifully cast and chased in the grapevine decoration, depicting the three graces, daughters of Zeus, Thalia (spoon-youth), Euphrosyne (fork - mirth) and Aglaia (knife-elegance). All parts are Hallmarked English Silver (925), London, year 1856 (a), Maker's mark FH for Francis Higgins II.
