Antique 19th Century Victorian solid silver and cut-glass claret jug, impressively large size, the straight tapering glass body is beautifully hobnail cut, mounted with decorative silver mount, the spout in a shape of a mans head and the handle terminating with a females head, hinged lid surmounted by a lion holding a shield finial.

Hallmarked English silver (925 standard), Sheffield, year 1891, Maker JEB (Walker & Hall, John Edward Bingham).
