ANTIQUE 18thC GEORGIAN SOLID SILVER PRINCE OF WALES PRESENTATION HORN c.1794
18th Century Georgian silver hunting or military presentation horn, particularly large, the two ends chased with oak leaves in relief, the front applied with an impressive cast armorial of the Prince of Wales, chain attachment and gilt interior.

DESCRIPTION
Antique 18th Century Georgian solid silver hunting or military presentation horn, particularly large, the two ends chased with oak leaves in relief, the front applied with an impressive cast armorial of the Prince of Wales, chain attachment and gilt interior.
One side is engraved with a coat of arms and the other with a crest over initials, for Williams of Frefoss, arms of Anglesey impaling Bacon.
The silver is Hallmarked English silver (925 standard), London, year 1794 (t), Maker's mark RN (for Robert Nash, rare silversmith, probably father of Robert Nash II, Paul Storr's apprentice in 1814).
CONDITION
The base has been restored and general wear.
