20th English Import silver and guilloche' enamel box, of oval form, hinged lid, the cover and the sides beautifully guilloche' enamelled, the cover is set with a hand painted panel depicting a landscape, it opens to reveal a richly gilded interior. The painted plaque is signed Faller. Hallmarked English import silver (925 standard), London, year 1912 (r), Importer's mark "JJH".

DESCRIPTION
Antique 20th English Import solid silver and guilloche' enamel box, of oval form, hinged lid, the cover and the sides beautifully guilloche' enamelled, the cover is set with a hand painted panel depicting a landscape, it opens to reveal a richly gilded interior. The painted plaque is signed Faller.
The box is exceptionally fine and well preserved, Austrian or French made to be exported to England, both parts are Hallmarked English import silver (925 standard), London, year 1912 (r), Importer's mark "JJH".
