Antique 20th Century Austrian Solid Silver, enamelled and jewelled figure, beautifully modelled as a peacock, the head is beautifully champleve' enamelled, the body is profusely set with rubies and the tail is set with 25 sapphires (of particularly large size, the largest are approx 0.20 carats).
The piece is excellent condition, very decorative and precious, typically Austrian, as often the case for these figures the silver is not Hallmarked but acid tested shows a 900+ standard, the piece dates to the 1900's.
