19th Century Stunning Victorian Silver presentation lidded Flagon, of tapering cylindrical form on a spreading foot, the domed cover terminating with a large finial naturalistically modelled as a ram. The piece is richly gilt and features a cast foliate scroll handle, the sides are profusely embossed and chased with scrolls and flowers in relief. The spout is cast as a mask, one side bears a commemorative inscription "Queens County Agricultural Society - Challenge Cup presented by the Earl of Portarlington for the best pen of three Hogget Rams bred by exhibitor". Hallmarked English Silver (925), London, year 1863 (h), Maker's mark RH for Robert Harper.

Antique mid 19th Century Stunning Victorian extremely large Solid Silver presentation lidded Flagon, of tapering cylindrical form on a spreading foot, the domed cover terminating with a large finial naturalistically modelled as a ram. The piece is richly gilt and features a cast foliate scroll handle, the sides are profusely embossed and chased with scrolls and flowers in relief.
