19th Century Victorian "Aestethic Movement" Silver cylindrical form large cup / beaker, partially gilt, gilding in perfet condition, tapering sides beautifully engraved with birds, cards and bamboo branches in the Japanese taste, the lid in the same design terminating with a nice cast finial. Hallmarked English silver (925), London, year 1881 (F), Maker's mark HJLJW for Henry John Lias & James Wakely.
