19th Century Victorian Empire style Silver ewer / jug, richly gilt, applied decorative bands with stilized leaves, cherubs and masks in relief, scroll handle applied with a nymph feeding grape to a putto, the hinged lid is surmounted by a vase finial. Hallmarked English silver (925), London, year 1874 (t), Maker's mark FE for Frederick Elkington.
