DESCRIPTION
Antique 19th Century Imperial Russian Solid Silver and niello enamel snuff box, parcel gilt, each side decorated with a niello enamel decoration, the cover depicting a very unusual subject, with a nude Venus under a tree in a landscape, the base and sides depicting landscapes and buildings.
Both parts are fully Hallmarked Imperial Russian silver (84, for 875 silver standard), Moscow, year 1820-30, Maker's mark in Cyrillic "O.B", probably for Omar Butaev.
CONDITION
In Excellent condition - No damage, just minor wear.
