Antique early-20th Century Japanese Meiji Period solid silver massive eight-piece tea & coffee service in original presentation case, exceptional and magnificent quality, embossed and applied with Iris flowers, with C-form handles and lids applied with Iris bulbs, partially gilt. Hallmarked with the Junjin marks (950+ high grade silver), Maker Miyamoto, active in Tokyo, high class manufacturer and retailer who held the distinction of suppliers to the Imperial household, a rare privilege at the time.
