19th Century Regency Silver Soup Tureen and Cover, richly gilt, of shaped circular form with lobed sides and applied cast scrolling foliate border, domed cover surmounted by a cast fruiting finial, twin handles beautifully cast with an acanthus foliage junctions. Hallmarked English Silver (925), London, year 1833 (s), Maker's mark BS for Benjamin Smith.

Antique 19th Century Regency Solid Silver Soup Tureen and Cover, impressively large and heavy, richly gilt, of shaped circular form with lobed sides and applied cast scrolling foliate border, domed cover surmounted by a cast fruiting finial, twin handles beautifully cast with an acanthus foliage junctions. Both parts are Hallmarked English Silver (925 Standard), London, year 1833 (s), Maker's mark BS (Benjamin Smith, very fine silversmith).
