18th Century Queen Anne Silver Cup and Cover, of large size, inverted bell shaped on boldly gadrooned circular foot, the lower body applied with strapwork and applied mid-band, twin large scroll handles, the cover applied with similar strapwork and surmounted by a cast finial, both parts are engraved with a magnificent crest. Hallmarked English silver (958 Britannia), London, year 1707 (m), Maker's mark WI for David Willaume.

Antique early-18th Century extremely rare and exceptional Queen Anne Solid Silver Cup and Cover, of large size, inverted bell shaped on boldly gadrooned circular foot, the lower body applied with strapwork and applied mid-band, twin large scroll handles, the cover applied with similar strapwork and surmounted by a cast finial, both parts are engraved with a magnificent crest. Both parts are Hallmarked English silver (958 Britannia standard), London, year 1707 (m), Maker's mark WI (David Willaume, great silversmith, a larger but very similar cup and cover by the same silversmith has been sold in Christie's for over $56000, and another example is now in the Victoria & Albert Museum, please follow this link).
