UNIQUE 20thC ITALIAN GILT SOLID SILVER & CORAL CAST MASSIVE DRAGON FIGURE c.1980
20th Century Italian Silver cast large figure modelled as a Chinese dragon, massive size and very heavy, standing on its hind legs, the back is set with coral thorns, applied cast wings, the eyes are set with red gemstones. Hallmarked Italian Silver (800).

Description
Vintage 20th Century Italian Solid Silver cast large figure modelled as a Chinese dragon, massive size and very heavy, standing on its hind legs, the back is set with coral thorns, applied cast wings, the eyes are set with red gemstones (possibly garnets). The sculpture is Hallmarked Italian Silver (800 standard), apparently no maker's mark but it appears to be by the same silversmith that made the collection of silver sculptures now for sale in my shop, the most of them signed "F. Moroni, Roma". This is a stunning hand-made unique piece, it dates to year 1980's.

In Great Condition - no damage, just general wear.
